    1. How I Conquered WordPress  Third Time Lucky

I’m a big fan of WordPress. I’ve used it for years and it’s my platform of choice for most of my websites. That said, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. I’ve had my share of WordPress disasters, and I’m currently on my third WordPress site.

My first WordPress site was a simple blog that I used to keep friends and family up-to-date on my life. It was nothing fancy, but it did the job. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how important it was to keep your WordPress site updated, and I soon found myself hacked. I was lucky enough to find a helpful forum post that showed me how to fix the problem, but it was a painful lesson.

My second WordPress site was a bit more ambitious. I was running a small business at the time, and I wanted a website that would help me promote my services. I spent a lot of time customizing my site and adding features, and I was really proud of it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to keep it up-to-date, and I eventually had to take it down.

Which brings me to my current WordPress site. I’ve learned my lesson, and I’m determined to keep this site up-to-date and secure. I’m also taking the time to learn more about WordPress so that I can customize my site and add features myself. So far, so good!

If you’re thinking about starting a WordPress site, I say go for it! Just be sure to keep your site updated and secure, and you’ll be fine.

    Why I Chose WordPress

I’m a web developer and I’ve been using WordPress since 2005. I originally chose WordPress because it was recommended to me by a friend. I had never heard of it before, but he assured me that it was the best platform for developing websites. And he was right! WordPress is extremely user-friendly and easy to use. Not to mention, it’s free!

Since then, I’ve used WordPress to develop countless websites for both myself and my clients. It’s my go-to platform for any project that requires a CMS (Content Management System). I love that it’s so versatile and can be used for everything from simple blogs to complex e-commerce sites.

I’m not the only one who loves WordPress. In fact, WordPress powers nearly 30% of all websites on the internet! That’s a pretty impressive statistic. And it’s no surprise, given all of the great features WordPress has to offer.

Here are just a few of the reasons why I continue to use WordPress for all of my web development projects:

    1. WordPress is free and open source.
    2. WordPress is extremely user-friendly.
    3. WordPress is highly customizable.
    4. WordPress has a huge community of users and developers.
    5. WordPress is constantly being updated and improved.

If you’re looking for a great platform to develop your next website, I highly recommend WordPress. It’s my personal favorite and I think you’ll love it too!

    1. How I Made WordPress Work for Me

Welcome back to my blog series on third time lucky how i conquered wordpress. In the last section, we looked at how to get started with WordPress and some of the basics of setting up your site. In this section, we’re going to look at how to make WordPress work for you.

There are two ways to approach this. The first is to find a theme that fits your needs and then customize it to your liking. The second is to create a custom theme from scratch.

The first approach is the easier of the two, but it does have its limitations. You’re limited to the functionality that the theme offers and you may have to make some compromises in terms of design.

The second approach is more time-consuming, but it gives you complete control over the look and feel of your site. You can also add any functionality you need without having to rely on a third-party plugin.

If you’re just starting out, I recommend going with the first approach. It’s easier and you can always switch to a custom theme later on if you need to.

Once you’ve chosen a theme, it’s time to start customizing it. The first thing you’ll want to do is change the colors to match your brand. You can do this by going to the Theme Customizer and clicking on the “Colors” tab.

Next, you’ll want to upload your own logo. Again, this can be done in the Theme Customizer. Just click on the “Logo” tab and upload your file.

Now it’s time to start adding content. If you’ve chosen a theme that includes a homepage template, you can add your content directly to that template. Otherwise, you’ll need to create a new page and assign it as the homepage in the Settings -> Reading section.

Once your homepage is set up, you can start adding blog posts. To do this, go to the Posts -> Add New section.

Enter a title and your content, then click on the “Publish” button. And that’s it!
